I have been a middle school teacher for 5 years in the St. Charles School District. I have taught many subjects in my relatively new career including: Math, Science, Geography, Language Arts, Reading, Physical Education and Technology. It was during my time as a technology educator that my interest in technology integration was heightened. As a result of my interest in technology integration, I took part in the CTER Masters program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Throughout my time in the program, I have created and implemented several school-wide technology initiatives. My strength is teacher training and technology staff development. I have taught over 100 training sessions in the last three years alone. Every teacher in my building has managed to bring technology into his/her classroom at least once a year and many rely on it as a crucial part of their teacher style.
