Late Work Policy:
Late work will NOT be accepted.  If you have a large assignment due, such as a paper or a project, I MUST have a note or phone call from your parents verifying your illness.  If I do not receive this, your grade will be a “0”.  Daily homework assignments can be turned in on the day you return to school.

Absence Policy:
If you are absent from school, it is your responsibility to find me and get your missing assignments.  You will be expected to have them turned in 2 days x the number of days you were not in school.  For example, if you were sick 2 days, I expect your work completed 4 days after you return to school.  If there is a quiz or a test that you were aware of given when you are absent, you will be expected to take it the day you return to school.

Participation Policy:
This is English class!  You must participate.  This class will be enriched by hearing what everyone has to say.  You will be privileged to hear many different opinions and we will be missing out on valuable things if your voice was not heard.

Tardy Policy:
You must be on time to class.  If you are late 3 times, you will have a detention.
