Poetry Project!!
Due February 20th or 21st
Assignment: (30 points)
Write a poem that reflects you. It can either be a poem you have
written in class or another poem you have written. It just has to
be about you! There is only one requirement for the poem. It
must include at least 3 of the poetic elements (imagery, simile, metaphor,
personification, rhythm, meter, onomatopoeia, alliteration, rhyme (exact,
internal, approximate), and tone). Length does not matter.
Write enough to make the poem meaningful.
Additionally, you must create an artifact that represents you through the poem you wrote. For example: a video, a piece of artwork, a song, ect. This is your chance to do something CREATIVE!!!
Finally, you will present both your poem and artifact to the class.

Element 1: 3 points

Completions: 3 points
Artifact: 10 pts
Represents you and the poem: 3 points
Effort: 4 points
Creativity: 2 points

Reading poem to class: 2 points
Explaining how poem and artifact relate: 4 points
Effective presentation delivery: 2 points
