Purpose: The purpose of this portfolio is to showcase my professional experience. Audience: The primary audience for this portfolio is prospective employers; however it also offers information about my professional experience that would be valuable for parents and students to know. Summary: In this portfolio I have integrated traditional media including my resume and references with multimedia including digital pictures, video clips, and a narrated PowerPoint presentation to highlight my professional experiences. In each of the content areas including math, science, and technology, I have included summaries of projects and samples of student work to give employers, parents, and students a "glimpse" of my teaching. Lastly, as technology becomes an integral part of the educational field it is important that I demonstrate my ability to integrate technology with the subject matter I teach and also showcase my own technology skills. Navigation: This portfolio is designed so that users can have choices in navigating and viewing components that are aligned with the information they are seeking to gain from the portfolio.
