Experience Related to Job Objective

 

            Teacher’s Aid, Windsor Elementary School, Arlington Heights, IL.  I observed

the class while the teacher taught each subject.  When the students

tried problems on their own, I worked with the them to answer their questions.  January 2004.

 

            Swim Lesson Instructor, Arlington Heights Park District, Arlington Heights, IL. 

Responsibilities included working with about five children at a time, ages 4 to 11, to help

them learn and perfect each swim stroke.  I also taught the parent-infant and parent-

toddler classes, where I helped children to become acquainted with and comfortable in

the water.  Summers, 2002-2004.

 

            Colorguard Instructor, Prospect High School, Mt. Prospect, IL.  Responsibilities included

choreographing teaching the flag routines to high school girls.  Summers, 2002-2003.

 

            Vacation Bible School Aid, First United Methodist Church, Arlington Heights, IL.  I

worked with a classroom of about fifteen children.  I assisted the teachers in the

different classrooms to run games and watch over the children.  Summers, 2000-2001.

 

            Babysitting.  Responsibilities included watching and playing with the children, as well as,

feeding, bathing, and putting the children to bed.  I’ve been babysitting for 8 years for

many different families in and around my neighborhood.

 

 

Other Job Experience

 

            Assistant Manager, Arlington Heights Park District.  Arlington Heights, IL. 

Responsibilities included managing the swimming pool area, making sure that the

lifeguards performed their duties carefully and responsibly, and ensuring the safety of the

patrons.  Summer 2004.

 

Lifeguard, Arlington Heights Park District. Arlington Heights, IL.  Responsibilities

included watching and guarding the pool, as well as, cleaning and maintaining the pool,

deck, and locker room areas.  Summers, 2002-2004.

included filling out paper work and registration information for the park district.
