The District Server
Also known as Samba, Rhys, and/or H:
Available for all staff and students with a login and password.

Open My Computer to see a map of the drives. The District Server is shown with your logon name on Rhys (H:)
Uses
Students can access their saved work from any networked computer in the district.
Backup.
Disk space.
Saving To The District Server
1. On the Novelle
  login screen logon
  using your User ID
  and password and click OK.
2. Click cancel at each dialogue box  until the Novelle box appears.
3. Open a program and create a document.

4. When ready to save on the Menu  Bar select File è Save As è Your User ID on ‘Rhys’ (H:)
Remember!
  You cannot save or retrieve documents saved on the district server if you have not logged in with your User ID and password.
Tip
  To check if a student has logged in check the Title Bar on the Novell delivered applications dialogue box.
