I am a lifelong learner who is fascinated by humanity and its affect on our world.  My enthusiasm and curiosity, which are vital to successful learning, fuels the same characteristics in children and encourages their intellectual growth.  I value an integrated, hands-on, inquiry learning process and practice the same.  I believe that a nurturing classroom culture, which establishes and reinforces good citizenship, is vital to classroom success.  Finally, I believe that every person begins each day with a new lease on life and my attitude reflects that philosophy.
