Ron Folkens

About me:

I am a Special Education Teacher  and the Technology Coordinator at the Regional Alternative School. I teach three Special Education Math classes, a Special Education Science class. As the Technology Coordinator I am responsible for the purchasing, maintanence, and repair of the technology at the Regional Alternative School.  I graduated from Illinois State University in May of 2001 and have been working at the Alternative School since. Currently I am also enrolled in a certificate program at Heartland Community College with the goal of obtaining Microsoft certification.  In my classes at U of I have have learned a great deal about integrating technolgy into the classroom and I am looking forward to completing my degree.
