Cell Corporation

Introduction

Welcome to the Cell Corporation Webquest! This webquest was created in part for a graduate course in Curiculum, Technology, and Education Reform through the University of Illinois @ Urbana-Champaign. If you have any questions or encounter any "bugs" please contact Robb Beane.

Inside the cell membrane there is an intricate group of structures called organelles. Your cell organelles function somewhat like the organs of our bodies. Each organelle has a specific job(s) that it performs in order to keep our bodies running smoothly. By following the links to the left, you will be learning about the organelles in your cells through some basic research and application of what you find.

Each organelle performs a needed function enabling our cells to operate. How do your cell's organelles do the jobs they do? How do our organelles work with each other?
