Below are some examples of original limericks and illustrations by fifth grade students.  The students simply scanned their illustrations and saved them as  .jpg files (.gif will work too.)  We then inserted them onto this page and typed the limerick below.  Enjoy!

Fido

There once was a dog named Fido.

He had a lot of prido.

Until came along,

A scary little frog.

And then he said bye byo!!

THE DOG BITSY

There once was a dog named Bitsy.

Her clothes did not fitsy.

She ate like a pig,

She became a little to big.

Her clothes started to ripsy.
