Since gas particles are so small, it is difficult to imagine how they play a significant role in our daily lives.  Yet, without air, a mixture of different gases, we would not be alive.  Although gases help keep us alive,  their properties allow them to be useful in different ways.  The contents of this page allows the student to explore and answer these questions by engaging in fun demonstrations and activities.  In addition to motivating students to learn about gases, these questions allow students to realize how gases play a significant role in our daily lives.
