                                                                    D’oh!

 

            Bart Simpson was born in 1990 in Springfield, USA.  As a young boy, he loved to cause trouble.  This drove his father Homer crazy.  Everyday, Homer would toil eight long hours at the nuclear power plant, and come home to find out that his son was involved in some sort of mischief. On one particular day, Bart was escorted home by Police Wiggam because he pilfered some items at the Kwiki Mart when Apu was not looking.  Unfortunately, the security cameras were on and caught Bart’s actions on tape.

Of course, Bart pleaded that he was completely innocent.  Marge insisted that Bart should return to the Kwiki Mart and apologize to Apu.  Homer drove Bart to the mart and brought the boy inside the store. 

            “Apologize to the man, boy,” Homer insisted.

            “I’m sorry Apu, I didn’t mean to make you mad,” Bart whined.

            “Well, looks like I found something else that was tampered with,” Apu replied,  “While I was cleaning up, the slushy machine began to overflow.  I checked to see what was wrong and I found that it was jammed.  It no longer works properly, and it has to be replaced.  I rechecked the security video and saw Bart jamming the machine with an old, petrified hot dog.” 

            “He what?!” exclaimed Homer. “Why, you little!”

              Homer began to strangle his son uncontrollably.

            “Now, now, let the boy go,” Apu reasoned, “It is no big deal. I won’t call the police if you just pay half of the damages, and I will take care of the rest.”

            “Oh really, eh?” Homer asked. “How much would you say that is?”

            “$2,000,” replied Apu.

            “D’oh!”
