Margie Hay




My Personal Information

I  attended Danville Area Community College and received my Associates Degree before transferring to Eastern Illinois University.  I graduated with a BA in English with a Secondary Ed. certification in the Spring of 1998.  I am currently a student in the University Of Illinois' CTER program.  .

I also teach English at Rantoul Township High School in Rantoul, Illinois.  I keep busy with learning computer applications, being active in my school's teachers' union,  and  I am currently on our union's negotiation team and working hard to come to an agreement before the beginning of the school year.  I  am the union co- president for the 2006-2007 school year.  I also began a new student club in the fall of 2005, the school's first Anime Club.  We have almost 20 members and average 14-16 members per meeting.  I am th Junior Class advisor for the 2006-2007 school year and have spent several years sponsoring the Prom committee.  When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my daughters,  Kate and Stacy, my granddaughter, Shay, and my fiancé Ted.
