1. Ease of creation: I don't write in HTML yet, and decided during a a four week class was a bad time to try to learn. Nvu allows almost total creation of a web page without any knowledge of writing html code. |

2. Cost effectiveness: Free!! Free is always a good option if the product is effective. Nvu fills my wep page creation needs so far, so for the price of "FREE", I will continue to use it until I need something with more options. |
| 3. Nvu provides great options: While I can treat my webpage much the same way I would a word document, I also have the choice to create using HTML. As I learn to use more HTML scripts, I can use Nvu. Nvu also has a great help page that answers most the questions I have had while creating a web page. |

During my research, I also looked at and experimented with a free trial of Dreamweaver. the cost of dreamweaver is $99.00 for students, or $399.00 for non students. (Not cost effective for me yet!!) I didn't think Dreamweaver was as easy to use as nvu. |

I also looked at Contribute from Adobe. Contribute was easy to use and offered a Word- like environment for creating a web page. The cost at $79.00 is reasonable, but not a s good as FREE!! |
