About
me:
Hello and
welcome to my ePortfolio page! I am a 2004 graduate of Eastern Illinois
University and am currently teaching second grade at North Clay Elementary. I have been fortunate to be an
employee of this excellent school district for the past two years. My
first year was spent teaching twenty-one six year olds in first grade.
This year, I graduated from first grade to second grade (just like my
students) and was pleased to have the opportunity to teach seven of the
same children for two years! Also, I have served as a cheerleading and
basketball coach for North Clay Junior High. My experiences with
teaching have been challenging yet very rewarding and I absolutely LOVE
my job! I am excited to continue my education through the University of
Illinois CTER program and hope to achieve my goal of enhancing my
classroom instruction through the use of technology.
