Major Project Description
To create a website to initially post assignments, and classroom
happenings. Eventually include
tutorials and on-line project information.
Site may be accessed by students and/or parents.
To increase the rate of completed homework by students. We have
a large portion of students who presently do not do homework in our department.
Possibly because so much of their work is hands-on in the lab. By having
the ability to access assignments on-line, will the rate of completion
increase?
High school students: initially computer application students.
Every other day during the semester they are taking the course.
One problem, recently found out we may not have computer application
students next year.So, the web site
will need to be changed to include different courses.
If this concept works for our department, it could be expanded for other departments within the school.
