lessons, activities, discussions, and assignments will be pointless,
unless you try to understand what it is all about. Have a
vision
about what you want for your future, make it a goal, and work towards
it. It won't happen without effort from you.

Helpful Hints
- Take Notes EVERYDAY
- Organize your notebook and keep it organized.
- Ask questions when you need help.
- Stay after school for extra help if you need it.
- Get the phone number of at least one reliable
person in class.
- Do not rely on the homework hotline for your
assignments.
- Take your book home and bring it back every day.

- Hopefully, you have your book at home because you
followed the helpful hints.

to ask for the lesson and assignment
- Call a friend from the class to get information about
the lesson and the assignment.
- Do the assignment in your notebook to stay current
with the class.
- Remember the assignment that was due on the day you
missed class is due for you on the day you return.
- As a last resort, call the homework hotline.
