Kindness Counts!

Acts of kindness happen everyday!  Sometimes, though,
we do not see them.  Take the time to notice the acts of
kindness people are doing around you.

An act of kindness is something we do to help someone -
without expecting anything in return.  Acts of kindness can
be simple things we do everyday, such as picking up litter
from the street or holding the door open for someone.
These acts of kindness make others feel great!

When you see an act of kindness, I want to know!
It can be an act you did for someone or an act
that someone did for you! It can even be an act
of kindness that you saw while driving in the car or
walking down the street!
Email me at lstoffel@elk-grove.k12.il.us
and answer the following questions:
1.  What was the random act of kindness you saw?
2.  Who performed the act of kindness?
3.  How did you feel before you saw or did the act
of kindness?
4.  How did you feel after it happened?

All acts of kindness will be published on the Acts
of Kindness Page.  Please visit this page to read about
all of the acts of kindness being done in the world!

Also, please write a short story in which a character
does at least one random act of kindness for another
character in your story.   Email the story to me.

Stories will be published on The Story Page for all
to read.  Do an act of kindness for someone today!
The world needs more kindness.  Remember...
Kindness Counts!!!
