6 Foot section of Bamboo
Dried Beans of various sizes
Spare pieces of Leather and Fur
Hot Glue Gun and Glue
Feathers, Beads, and other decorations
Paint or Markers
Aluminum Foil
Leather Cording

1. Cut bamboo with saw to desired length.
2. Decorate outside of bamboo with markers or paints.
3. Let your paint and markers dry.
4. Crumple aluminum foil into a coil, shape coil into a spring shape.
5. Put foil into bamboo tube, fitting it down into the tube, keeping the spring shape.
6. Take a piece of the leather or fur and cut it to fit over the opening on one end. Make sure that it is bigger than the opening so it will cover it totally with extra.
7. Glue fur or leather onto one end of the bamboo, closing the opening permanently.
8. From the other end, put dried beans into the bamboo. Use a plastic bag and a rubber band to test the sound your stick makes until it makes a sound that you like. Add and take away beans as needed.
9. Once you have the sound you like, take off the plastic bag and glue the fur or leather around the opening, closing it permanently. Make sure that you have cut the fur or leather big enough to fit over the opening totally.
10. Decorate your stick with beads, feathers and ornaments until you like the looks of it. Use leather cording to attach your decorations. Glue to secure it to the stick so it won't come off.
