1. I poked 2 small holes in the bottom of the cup using the pin.
2. I put each end of the string throught a hole into the cup.
3. Adjust the string so one piece is about 6" and the rest sticks through the other hole.
4. Tie the strings in a knot so the knot is as close to the bottom of the cup as you can. Trim the short piece of string close to the knot.
5. Tie the end of the long piece of string around the sponge. Trim the string close to the sponge.
6. To make a noise, wet the sponge then bend it around the string near the cup and pull the sponge down the string.
