Papier Mâche
Two Balloons
2 - 8" X 11" Sheets of Paper
Roll of Masking Tape
1 Roll of Tissue Paper
10 Lock Washers
Paint (your chose)
Water
Blow up the 2 balloons the size you prefer. Take the 2 - 8" X 11" sheets of paper and shape them into two cones. Clip about one inch off the top of each cone shape (they will be used as the handles). Make about a 1Ú2" cut from the top of the cone shapes about four cut will do. Take the Tissue Paper and stuff it into the cone for strength. Fill to about a 1Ú2" form the top. Fold the four 1Ú2 " cuts down and using the masking tape, tape the cones to the balloons with the tied up part of the balloons in the cones.
Mix the Papier Mâche with water max it like clay. Apply thin layer of the Papier Mâche to the Balloons let set and dry over night. Cut a small slash into the Papier Mâche and the Balloons. Fill each Rattler with five Lock Washers. Apply another thin layer of Papier Mâche to the Rattler and the handles let it set and harden. Then Paint the colors you prefer.
