The Squeaker-Doodle

Materials:

• Water Balloon (use a long necked balloon or a long water balloon)
• Straw (should be hard plastic)
• Rubber band

Instructions:

1. Cut the top of the water balloon off with scissors.
2. Attach the straw to the water balloon top with the rubber band, leaving a good portion of the top dangling freely.
3. Decorate as desired.

Playing the Squeaker-Doodle:

Bite the end of the straw to hold it in your mouth. Then using your thumb and index finger on either hand, stretch the 2 sides of the balloon top apart and blow. To change the volume, blow harder or softer. To change pitch, stretch the sides of the balloon top closer or farther away. Also, you can pull the top of the balloon away from you to make higher notes.
