Greetings:
I am a teacher and coach in Unit District #4, Champaign, Illinois. As a veteran of 20 years in education, I have had the opportunity to witness many changes in teaching and coaching practices. Perhaps the biggest influence in the evolution of educational practices is the rapid, ever changing development of technology and the tools that are now available to educators. As a result, in June 2001, I decided to go back to school, enrolling in the Curriculum Technology and Education Reform (CTER) program at the University of Illinois. Through the use of this website, it is my goal to tell you a little about myself, share some of my teaching experiences, and show you the direction I’m heading in my own development as a teacher.
