You will find that technology is used in a variety of ways within the classroom for each subject area.  Our school designs our technology curriculum around the  National Educational Technology Standards for Students .   Through a graduate class taken at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, I have put together a curriculum map which outlines  some of the various means of technology  used in my classroom.   In addition, I have created an online research project which centers around Pioneer Living and Westward Movement.   Students can find directions to some homework related assignments online such as creating a Tall Tale.  In Social Studies, students have in the past helped collaborate on a regional online project.   In math we use technology resources such as calculators, data collection probes,videos, and software for problem-solving, self-directed learning, data collection, and extended learning activities.  Some tools used are Inspiration, Cornerstone, Tom Snyder's Fizz and Martina,  Timeliner, and Math Workshop.  For further technology searching and ideas that may find their way into our classroom, please review by recommended links.
