About me:

My resume will show that I am a fourth grade elementary teacher with experience in 5th and 6th grade also.  I have worked in the New Lenox District 122 for seven years teaching GATE language arts, math, and social studies.  I am on our school Technology Committee, District GATE committee, and District Health Insurance Committee.   I enjoy sponsoring the 4th grade Just Say No Club with another faculty member.  I am married to Mike Hickey, and we have three children.  My daughter is a junior and in the honors program at John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio.  I have two sons, one is a senior at Providence Catholic High School, and the other is a freshman at Lincoln-way Central High School.  They each have been great resources to me during my CTER graduate work, as I explored the field of educational technology.
