students who consistently complete their work early and correctly were chosen for this
challenge project. They went on www.weather.com and
recorded the temperature, humidity, and pressure for a week. Then they used their data to
create this excel chart. They presented their chart to the class and called on students to
make predictions about the correlation between the 3 categories. |
| Sports graph: This
was a cooperative learning activity in which students worked in their teams of 4 to design
a survey. This group chose "which sports do you like to watch and which do you like
to play?". The class answered each survey by moving from team to team, making tally
marks to indicate their opinion. Each team then used the data to create an excel chart to
display to the class.
