Description:
Conceptual Physics Webpage
I would like to create a webpage for my Conceptual Physics course. This will be
used as an online resource for my Physics Class.
Goals:
I wanted to increase communication with parents so I listed my information and
a link to e-mail me. They are also aware of my grading system and the major
projects that need to be done. I also wanted to make Physics resources
available to my students for help as needed. I included the course
guidelines and syllabus so that the students can have access to them at any
time. The project information could be used as a tool so they can plan
accordingly.
I also wanted to make the course grades available
for the students and parents to check.
Due to an upgrade in the district software I was unable to do that at this
time.
Kind of learners:
Primarily this will be a resource for my Junior
and Senior Conceptual Physics students.
This will also be available for the use of the parents of those students.
Access to those learners:
Daily in school, and depending on at home
access, there as well.
Future Plans:
I would like to maintain this so that due dates and quiz/ exam dates can be
added as well. Right now, I would only have a rough estimate of the first
quarter, as we will be getting a new book in August and the schedule will be
readjusted.
I continue to be concerned that the more
reliant that I am on the web page, the more I will isolate those students and
parents that do not have access to the internet at home.
As mentioned earlier, I will also be adding the
grade reports.
