Conclusion
The Battle of Tours may not be
represented as the most important battle in history, but we can now see
that the effects of this battle have helped shape the world that we
live in today. All events in history affect future events and the
world would be a much different place had certain events ended
differently in our world's history. Although we may never know
what the world would look like today had events such as the Battle of
Tours been altered, the maps, timelines, and personal accounts created
through this webquest can give insight into the many possibilities.
Had the outcome of this one event been different, the final
results of your webquest may be what our class reads in our History
Textbook and our webquest task may have been to examine how the world
would be different had the Christians won the Battle of Tours.
