N vu

HTML Editor
In the Spirit of Mozilla
Firefox, Nvu is an HTML editor that offers an alternative and
improvement over similar programs created by Microsoft and other large
corporations. This editor has easy to use tool bars that span the top
of the screen, much like web browsers and word processors. It includes
"tabs" much like Firefox web browser, allowing you to easily switch
between multiple open projects or pages. Web publishing is as easy as
typing, inserting pictures from web location, choosing color, saving,
and hitting "publish." Compatible with most web browsers, even
beginners can create web pages that rival advanced HTML writers.
This simple page has been created using Nvu. You can easily change text color, font, and even size. You
can add background color or picture from an existing website or from a
file on your computer. Pictures can be added throughout the page and
retain their color and definition. Templates are available, too.
You can easily link to other web pages; here is a site that was also created using NVU.
You can choose to have your links open in a new window without ever
writing HTML code. If you are more advanced and would like to write
HTML or are a beginner and would like to view the page in HTML to see
the code at work and understand the commands, you can toggle the HTML
tags on and off. This allows you to practice and manipulate the page
using a mixture of Nvu and your own HTML. The "Preview" option allows
you to check the success of your code as you write.
Nvu is the
perfect tool for the beginner and also an efficient means for the
advanced HTML writer to write and publish. This easy to use editor is
cost effective, as well. Before spending large sums on software that
is similar to Nvu, try this FREE editor. Before you make a commitment
to making Nvu your one and only HTML editor, check the market, read
reviews, and test other editors. Links to additional HTML editor reviews are listed
