Process
Each group will consist of 3 or 4 students
#1 ------ Determine the Roles
- Everyone should take responsibility in equally sharing the work, as you will be evaluating individual participation.
- Some members will play more than one role because some jobs involve more work then others, so divide the jobs equally
- each leg of the trip should be decided upon by the group
#2 ------ Pick a theme
- Decide what theme you would like to plan your trip around
- You may want to visit the landmark list to get a "feeling" for the type of landmarks that are visitable
#3 ------ Pick your vehicle
The
"Transportation Technician" has the final say in which vehicle to pick,
but he/she must take group preference into consideration.
#4 ------ Begin your trip
- Now
you have your roles picked, your vehicle and your theme. It is
time to begin your journey, which originates from Beecher City,
Illinois.
- Your group will pick a national landmark in each of the 48 continental U.S. states to visit that folllows your group's theme.
- The RoadTrip Recorder will record each leg of the trip
- The Transportation Blogger will blog each leg of the trip
- The Roadtrip Banker will keep track of the amount of money spent on fuel
- The Trip Mapper will map each leg of the trip
#5 ------ Wrapping Things Up
- The Tranportation Poet will write a poem or song that details the group's trip. He/she will use group input in the design.
- The Trip Mapper will put the final touches on the printed out map
- The RoadTrip Recorder be sure that all legs of the trip are properly recorded
- The Transportation Blogger will check to be sure each leg of the trip was blogged
- The Roadtrip Banker will report the money that was spent on fuel
- The Transportation Technician will report the gas mileage
- Time Tracker will report the traveling time
#6 ------ Group Evaluation and Individual Evaluation
- Every group member will print out the group evaluation , fill it out fairly and turn it in.
- The Map will be turned in
- The Trip Log will be turned in
- The Poem/ Song will be turned in
