This site is a report on Julia Jeffreys major project for EdPsy 387.  The project is titled Watershed Down.  It is the first step in a larger undertaking that will be developed for the Roxana High School Math and Science Division.  When finished this endeavor will contain activities for Chemistry, Horticulture, Biology, and Earth Science.  This project is the Earth Science component.  It is WebQuest study of soils and erosion.  The project consists of three different lessons each with a internet research component and a lab component.  In addition, it asks students to recognize difference in erosion type and apply what they have learned in a field situation.   The final product includes a presentation to be done on video or CD.  Exceptional projects will be donated to the elementary schools and local libraries.
