Consider using a less intense background image. One way to achieve this is by using a lighter color for textured backgrounds. Another way is to reduce the intensity of a background image by lightening the image using Photoshop or another photo manipulation software program. This is especially useful if your background image is a logo or other picture. The next two pages will demonstrate the effects of using a lighter background image.
