Gathering Data
To start the first trial of this program, I wrote e-mails to several of my friends who are teaching abroad this summer. My co-worker, Ms. Renner, who is teaching English to twenty students ages 6-10 in Nicaragua jumped at the opportunity to share information with my ten first grade students.
My class complied data first and sent it via e-mail to Nicaragua.
Then Ms. Renner's class complied data and sent it to us.
Our class compared our own data in order to practice our graphing and analyzing skills.
