This
menu is important in several ways.
-
Choose "Check
Spelling" to help touch up any grammatical or mechanical mistakes that
were made during the construction of your web page. However, remember
that this option may not catch
all the mistakes. Make sure
you manually proofread the page as well.
-
Choose "Character
Tools" then "Insert Special Character" to add some special characters
to your page. You can add things like ®, ©, and é,
among several symbols. You
can
also
highlight
certain
text
and
choose
"Rainbow
Colorize"
to
write
in
several
different
colors.
The previous statement is proof of that. FINALLY,
WHILE IN "CHARACTER TOOLS", YOU
CAN CHOOSE "SMALL CAPS".
The
previous sentence illustrates this option. To do this, simply highlight
the desired text and choose "Small Caps" from the "Character Tools" menu.
-
Choose "HTML Tools"
then "Edit HTML Source" to view and edit the HTML source for the current
page. This is very confusing for the novice. It is recommended
for advanced HTML authors only. The HTML source might look something like
this:
<hr WIDTH="100%">
<center><font face="Imprint MT
Shadow"><font size=+3>Web Page
Design</font></font>
<br><font face="Imprint MT
Shadow"><font size=+3>View
Menu</font></font>
<br>
<hr WIDTH="100%"></center> |
-
Choose "Tableize"
to immediately place highlighted text into a previously formatted table.
