Introduction
Welcome to the multimedia summary of my ePortfolio. This summary is very
helpful as it covers the highlights of this site and helps you with navigation,
making your visit more time-efficient.

Page
My Home Page works as my site’s Table of Contents. It contains links
that give access to the information provided within my ePortfolio. These
links connect to information regarding my educational preparation, including
my projects completed while obtaining my Master’s of Education degree
from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign. This Homepage also
provides links to various pages describing my professional experiences,
personal information, professional references, and resources I have made
available to teachers, students, and parents.
Educational Preparation
My Educational Preparation page provides all needed information regarding
my educational experiences. By May 18, 2003, I will have completed my
Master’s of Education program at the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign.
Links to the University of Illinois as well as my master’s program,
Curriculum Technology Education Reform, are provided on this page. Also,
from this page, you will have access to all my projects, which were completed
during my course of study.
Prior to attending the University of Illinois, I attended Greenville
College in Greenville, Illinois, and Lake Land College in Mattoon, Illinois,
to obtain my degree in English education. Links to these educational institutions
are provided as well.
Professional Experiences
As you continue through my site, you will find my work experiences on
the Professional Experiences page. This page contains my teaching experiences.
You will learn not only where I have taught, but also what subjects I
have taught, and at what levels. It will become obvious that I have had
many experiences in many diverse settings. For instance, I spent several
years teaching in a gang-infested district in a community with a population
of over 200,000 near Chicago, Illinois. Following this experience, I moved
to my current position, teaching in a rural, farming community of less
than 3,000 people. Obviously, I have had many different experiences while
educating today’s youth.
On this page you will also learn of my coaching career. While I have
coached several other sports, most recently, I have concentrated on the
sport of softball. In this sport, I have enjoyed a very successful coaching
career. My softball career record, winning percentage, accomplishments,
activities, and awards received are all provided on this page.
Finally, I have provided links to several Web sites, including those
of professional organizations of which I am a member. I also included
links to the Web sites I maintain for my classes and my softball team
at Cumberland High School in Toledo, Illinois.
Personal Information
The Personal Information page will provide you with information such as
my mailing address, email addresses, family information, and hobbies I
enjoy. Here, you will also find more links to educational institutions.

On the References page, you will find a list of my professional references.
This list includes references for both my teaching career and my coaching
career.

as well as several miscellaneous links that are both interesting and fun.
