 My History and Schooling Experience

I was born in New Jersey and traveled around a lot until the age of seven. I was in a military family so it was hard to stay in one place. By the time I was in second grade my family settled down for good in Sylvania, OH. I attended Sylvania Southview where I experienced a wide variety of interesting and challenging classes. I was a good student who was also involved in extra-curriculars. I was a part of National Honors Society and attained an overall GPA of 3.7 in High School. I was mainly involved in baseball and football outside of the classroom. I would say that my overall childhood and high school experience was a positive influence in how I have developed into the teacher I am today. I attended Miami University where I was part of the football team for 2 years. I was heavily involved in intramural sports and Miami is where I met my future wife. Currently, I have been happily married to my wife Sandy for the past 6 years. We have 2 dogs and 3 cats, which I enjoy everyday. I am a very active person, especially when it comes to the golf course.
