About Me
Every since I was a little girl playing "school" with my younger siblings, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I began as a history major in college but soon switched my  to mathematics, realizing it was my true passion. I graduated from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana in May of 2007 with a B.S. in Mathematics and Psychology, minor in Secondary Education.

I am in my first year of teaching at Lake Zurich High School in Lake Zurich, IL. Planning for Algebra 1, Intermediate Algebra and Advanced Math/Trigonometry consume most of my time; however, I will coach girl's lacrosse in the spring as well as help develop and implement the first small learning community at LZHS.

When I am not at school, I enjoy travelling the United States and Europe. I've backpacked through Europe twice and hope to make it Australia and Thailand soon. I guess you can say, I caught the travel bug!
