Educational and Personal Background - I am currently entering my fifth year of teaching 7th grade Geography. My first two years were in Quincy and I am in my third year at Rochester. I graduated from Western Illinois University with a Bachelor's degree in History.

My Family - I come from a long line of teachers (well a mom, two aunts and my wife). My wife is a Reading Specialist at Chatham Intermediate School . She finished her Master's Degree in Reading and Literacy last year. Some of my favorite hobbies are scuba diving, running, water skiing, and traveling. I have traveled throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico, The Caribbean, and Europe.
