Adobe GoLive is a program for HTML layout, design, and Web site management. A webpage can be designed in a drag and drop method or by HTML coding. It is more difficult than a program like Claris Homepage or Netscape Composer. Patients is needed to learn the many exciting options that GoLive has to offer. Some features not included in this webpage are frames, streaming movies, playing of MIDI tracks.

For the advanced webpage designer this program would be wonderful...once they found time to learn all of the features and how to get them to work. It easily works with all of the other Adobe products. This program allows you to insert marquees, roll overs and drop down menus with ease. The cost of GoLive is $399. There is a special wher you can get Adobe Photoshop, GoLive, Illustrator and Acrobat for $129. That is a wonderful deal! Although it cost more than programs like FrontPage and Composer (which is free) it allows the user to do add more of the bells and whistles that make webpages interesting. In my opinion, if you wanted to create webpages with marquees, roll overs and drop down menu but did not want to learn the coding GoLive is worth every penny!
