CTER Courses:Summer 06
- Final Project- My final project for EPSY457, Computer Uses in Education, will be this webpage designed for students and faculty and a moodle for my Photo I class. I hope my project can serve as a working example for faculty at my school to see the possibilties of using networked learning.
- Activity 6 - Analysis of advanced HTML editor: Dreamweaver 8
- Activity 1- Final Project Page
- My final project for EPSY590 NET, is a networked-learning project with Katie Shifflet, CTER 9 and Graphic Arts teacher in Chicago. Katie and I created a collaborative digital image exchange and alteration project for her graphic arts and my digital photography class to participate together. For this project, we enlisted the help of volunteers for a test run.
- During the course of the project, Katie and I met every day on chat to discuss the project. We also shared a wikispace and moodle to edit our work on. It was very easy to collaborate once we got the backbone and structure in place. We had the same vision for the project, and were able to create a more indepth project by working together.

I graduated from the University of Illinois in 2002 with a degree in Art Education. This fall will be my fifth year teaching. I teach at Fountain-Fort Carson High school in Fountain, CO. My classes are Black and White Photography with the addition of Graphic Design and Digital Photography next year.
I chose the CTER program at the University of Illinois because my school distict is implementing laptops for high school students and teachers. I serve on a committee that will help instruct teachers to use new technology, ITC.
